BNPL Summit – A New Era is on the Horizon

The event was sparked by the transposition of the Consumer Credit Directive (CCD) into national law. For BNPL providers, November 20, 2026, marks the beginning of a new era, as they are going to fall into scope of the directive. They will face many new duties. And that’s not all: by 2027, they must also be fully AML compliant. Together with industry experts, we discussed this exciting new world, where nothing is expected to remain as it is today.
